freedom is a mindset, not a destination.

Did you ever wonder if the universe has a metaphysical order? Well, according to scientists, there is one, and it’s called the Law of Attraction. Or, as some may call it, quantum physics. Like attracts like. Where focus goes, energy flows.

Have you ever gotten a call from someone who you were just thinking about minutes ago? Did you ever wonder what those chills mean while listening to meaningful music?

These encounters may be easily labeled as ‘coincidence’, but the more we discover about the world, the more that assumption proves false.

How does this order work, and how can we use it to our advantage?

You may have learned in science class the way a cell divides and the unique shape it makes. That’s an order, of some sort.

But did you ever wonder if this organization of physical matter extends to more abstract concepts, such as friendship, love, money, health, and other concepts of life?

Well, according to researchers and concrete science today, there is an order, not just for physical life, but also for the thoughts and subjects of physical life. It’s called the Law of Attraction.

The Law of Attraction is a law of the universe and it states: that which we focus on will grow.

Allow me to put this better into perspective. The resources that you are using to read this article have been built twice. In fact, everything on Earth has been built twice.

Take your computer or phone, for example. It was created once in someone’s mind, and then again with physical materials. Through continued focus on one outcome, a specific vision, and action aligned with the vision in mind, these things have been made possible to exist.

This is true for every single thing that exists.

The more we put our thoughts and actions behind a belief, the more that belief will grow. The more that belief grows, the more action we put into making that a truth in our realities. As more action makes it a reality, the more we will see it come to play in our lives.

But What Does This Have to Do With Us and Our Lives?

The Law of Attraction is working in every moment of every day.

This means your thoughts are influencing what you see in your reality. At the same time, you are being influenced by your environment, or “reality”, as well.

However, you have a lot more choice in how much you are being influenced than you may think.

Because the Law of Attraction works all the time and because we all have beliefs (which come from the repetition of thoughts – affirmations can help there), the Law of Attraction is working for you right now. It brought you here to this blog. It’s determining what comes next, and next, and next, and everything thereafter.

So it stands to reason we should get a grip on our thoughts and emotions, both of which are intertwined, after all. Meditation will help with that.

How can we use the Law of Attraction to our advantage?

Well I’m glad you asked. By thinking positively, we place our focus on things that make us feel good (thoughts that feel bad focus us on what is not good for us). When we feel good, we are consequently thinking good-feeling thoughts—and vice verse—and so the cycle repeats. Therefore, we attract more good into our lives. It’s law.

This is why you hear some people preaching, “you have to be positive” or “quit being so negative”. It may be cliché or annoying, but it works.

This is why it’s so important to think and say things that you want in your life, do things that make you happy, and be the person you want to be.

I’ll give you an example.

There are always at least two ways to look at something: negatively and positively.

So if I were to be thinking about my health in a negative state, I might have a thought like this: “I’m sick and miserable all of the time”. That thought feels pretty bad because it’s misaligned with my desire to feel good in my body. I’m thinking the opposite of what I want. The mind is powerful, so even just thinking the thought automatically gives it fuel to grow in your physical reality. It immediately creates cortisol in the body, the stress hormone, which is helpful in small amounts, but debilitating when it is chronic (continuous without break).

Cortisol is a wonderful tool when used correctly. It’s a signal to change something in your environment; it is the hormone that signals to our brains that something is not right.

When its call is not heeded, sickness results. This is why it is so important to listen to and mind its signals, as it helps act as our internal compass.

On the flip side, I could think “when I get sick, it strengthens my immune system so that I am able to fight off a more serious disease”. This thought feels good because it’s aligned with something that I want, which is good health and feeling good in my body. This thought (if it’s believed by the thinker) immediately creates happy hormones like serotonin, dopamine, etc. depending on the thought.

Where cortisol is the signal to stop or move away from what is causing us harm, these happy chemicals that the body makes that feel good are the signals to move toward what is causing us these feelings. This is the emotional guidance system.

You alone are the interpreter of what feels positive and what feels negative in your life, based on your past life experiences. What feels negative for you may not feel negative for someone else, and what feels positive for someone else may not feel positive for you.

Our bodies are more intelligent than we know, but if you’re like me, you may have spent a long time believing there was something wrong, due to xyz. Actually, there are huge multi-billion dollar corporations that make money off of you and billions others, and they invest their money to keep us thinking this way.

But the truth is, our bodies have the capacity to heal completely. We just have to take the obstacles out of our way. It takes faith and thinking and working in harmony with the body and mind to create the life we desire and deserve. More on that to come.

While cortisol, to you, feels “bad” and dopamine feels “good”, the universe doesn’t recognize it that way. The universe recognizes vibration and frequency, or the energy you have flowing from you at all times.

The Universe doesn’t see “good” and “bad”

The universe can’t tell the difference between what you deem as “positive” or “negative” because YOU (your ego with the name and family and friends and past experiences) are the one labeling those things positive or negative, based on your past experiences and beliefs. The universe just sees everything as is. What it is receiving from you is the energy or the “vibrations” you give out.

“Vibrations” is just another word for “feeling”. A vibration feels a certain way. It is an accumulation of your thoughts and emotions (and therefore hormones) in any given moment.

“Negative” vibrations are low vibrations and they feel bad to us. “Positive” vibrations are high vibrations and they feel good.

The universe sees these vibrations and brings you more similar-feeling vibrations, emotions, and events in every moment.

Throughout the day, our vibrations will change–by our direction or misdirection–and therefore change the events and feelings that come our way. It’s important to feel good for countless reasons, but arguably one of the most important is so that we attract more good into our lives. So it stands to reason that placing our peace first will get us what we desire, as like attracts like.

But How Do I Know This is True?

I don’t blame you for having doubts. I had plenty of my own to start, and most everyone does. I mean, I’m sharing something that can change your entire life and the way it works. And unless you know me in real life, I’m just a stranger on the internet.

However, I have dedicated a chunk of this blog and much of my life to helping people discover this “secret” and use it to their advantage. I aim to cultivate trust from my readers, and lying to you wouldn’t accomplish that.

Still, I know saying this still won’t eliminate all of your doubts, because this knowledge must be experienced in your life in order for you to truly believe it. Even still, besides testing it yourself, you may want some science and real-life examples to back up your belief, so below I explain some examples that support evidence of the Law of Attraction.

My first example comes from a well-known scientifically-explained phenomenon within the body called “mirror neurons”. Mirror neurons are microscopic cells in the brain that have been discovered to mirror that which we see. For example, mirror neurons are responsible for the urge to yawn after seeing someone else yawn. It’s also why a baby may smile at you when you smile at the baby, or mimics your expression when looking at you making the same funny face.

There are many other examples that manifest the actions of mirror neurons. A couple of these include a person mimicking the movements of someone he or she likes or agrees with , or a dog sensing your fear and acting negatively in response.

Basically, it is proof you are affecting the world with your energy, beliefs, and actions, and it explains how good vibrations are spread throughout the world. When we are positive and kind, those with whom we interact are inspired to act positively and kindly towards us.

You can learn more about mirror neurons here, and the studies that have been done to support this concept.

Scientists aren’t the only ones raving about all of this. Some legendary public figures have learned about and utilized the law for themselves, including Nikola Tesla (the inventor who helped create the backbone of our electrical world today) Arnold Schwarzenegger, Will Smith, and Jim Carrey.

In fact, Jim Carrey talks about the check he wrote to himself for $10,000,000 for “acting services rendered”. Later, he received a contract for $10,000,000 for the movie “Dumb and Dumber”. He credits his success to his visualization and faith in his dream, combined with his aligned action to get there.

Test It For Accuracy

While all of this goes a long way to strengthening your belief in the Law of Attraction, the only way you will truly know is if you test and experience it for yourself.

Start small. Think about something random, like yellow feathers. Whatever it is, choose something that you wouldn’t normally see in your life on a consistent basis. Spend a couple of minutes thinking about it.

Think about it often throughout the day. Set reminders if you have to.

And then, watch it show up. Over and over again. In movies, in real life, on social media, whatever. You will begin to start seeing it everywhere.

Regardless of if you believe this is “real” or not, I think we all can agree that thinking more positively and truly believing things that inevitably benefit you (thoughts like “I am strong”, for example) is going to be good for you and your life simply for the actions you take in alignment with that belief.

By believing you are strong, you’re going to feel the strength to take more chances that improve your life, lift heavier weights, run longer, or hike up a mountain.

When I first found out about this law, I had a hard time believing it. I found out by my dad, watching the movie “The Secret” with him when I was maybe 15. I was fascinated at the start, but a few years went by and I kind of just forgot about it, not truly believing in its power, thinking it was too good to be true.

Then, I came across another source of information, Abraham Hicks, who better explained the topic and made me really believe in what this is all about. Watching “The Secret“ was a start but I later realized I didn’t really have the full picture. Learning from others on this huge topic was the missing piece that allowed me to use the Law of Attraction to my benefit for real, and use it well.

I’ve tested it for myself many times, and now I use it daily in every moment that I consciously remember. After so many years harping on it, I think about it a lot. I use it a lot, and it never fails. Some manifestations are easier than others, which is why doing the inner “shadow work” to raise our vibration is so important.

Still, this doesn’t take a ton of effort. It shouldn’t be a struggle. If it’s a struggle, it’s not working.

It takes work, but it should be fun work. It should be something that feels right to do. If you’re dreading the work, then it’s not going to work. The whole point is to feel good while doing it. Pay attention to what is happening in your body as you think individual thoughts. How you feel is your guide.

Be patient with yourself, because this takes practice.

But how do we know how we feel?

It’s easy to numb ourselves to our feelings, especially if you have been abused, tend to go through life on autopilot, and/or like drugs. This is why it’s important to bring our awareness back to our body and every sensation that it gives us. Meditation helps a lot with this. If you’d like to learn how to meditate, click here.

Whatever it is, do you get tingles when you think about it? Do you breathe deeper, sit up straighter, open your eyes wider? Do you feel a burst of energy when you think a certain thought?

Or do you clench your jaw, tense your muscles, take shallow breaths, and feel a nervous pit in your stomach? Do you feel the urge to bounce your knee or bite your nails?

Pay attention to these signs, but don’t complicate it.

Simply ask yourself: do I feel good right now, or bad?

You will get an answer if you’re quiet enough. For even better results, meditate if you’re truly focused on creating a better life. Guaranteed, this will change your world for the better if you put in the necessary focus to live your dreams. Patience is necessary, it won’t come all overnight, but it’s an enjoyable process, and anyway, the joy IS in the journey.

When we can get real with ourselves and what we want and bring our thoughts and emotions in sync with our desires, we can move mountains. Our problems start to dissipate as we allow them. For more information, check out the following resources.
